QF Day-Date champagne · 7399-918-1

GL candidate · automated visual QC
S002 · Camera geometry corrected. Image rotated approximately 1.7° counterclockwise at the dial centre; perspective and unequal image scaling normalized to a circular dial reference using native radial boundaries of the connected printed minute chapter. Recentered and resampled to 1900 × 1900 pixels. No correction for crystal refraction or raised bezel/hand geometry. Extended rays are visual dial references only; they do not correct or measure the raised bezel.

RECOMMENDATION

Visible QC supports GL from these photos. Dial layout, SATURDAY display and date 2 appear acceptable; no compelling marker-mounting, hand or fluted-bezel defect is established.

Dial alignment and marker straightness

The minute track and applied markers appear coherently arranged in S002. Bright marker faces contrast strongly with darker metal facets; they do not clearly establish separate luminous inserts. Visible placement is acceptable without a compelling mounting defect.

S002

Day/date presentation and hands

SATURDAY and date 2 are legible and contained within their apertures. Visible hands show no obvious damage. A hand and its shadow cover portions of the lower dial lettering and central text. The requested day/date presentation check is acceptable for the displayed selections.

S002 S015

Raised fluted bezel

The native S002 view shows a continuous fluted bezel with strong alternating reflections. Side views show its raised profile. No compelling local damage or spacing defect is established.

S002 S006 S007

Case, bracelet and clasp finish

Wrinkled and overlapping transparent film covers substantial case, bracelet and clasp surfaces; the QF Chain Weight sticker also obscures links. Repeated film irregularities do not establish underlying metal damage.

S006 S007 S008 S009 S010 S011

Timegrapher snapshot

Rate +1 s/day; Amplitude 245 °; Beat error 0 ms; Lift angle 52 °; Beat rate 28800 bph; Interval 12 s Displayed amplitude depends on the selected lift angle; the correct setting for the installed movement is not verified. Winding, stabilization, position and recording duration are unknown. Two transcriptions of one source are not independent timing measurements.

S013

Red ring: printed dial-track reference. Red dashed rays continue the dial positions across the bezel for visual comparison only; they do not correct, measure or set a tolerance for the raised bezel or cyclops. Cyan crosshairs mark the dial’s cardinal axes. Green lines show released luminous-insert axes, and amber outlines show candidate reflective edges. Positive angles are clockwise; negative angles counterclockwise. Sensitivity ranges are not confidence intervals. Native close-ups preserve the source view.

S002 · Native position detail

Angle unverified · local axis not confirmed · The supplied crop and mask select the bright side of a faceted marker. Native evidence does not reliably distinguish this from reflective metal, so a complete uncontaminated luminous-component axis is not established.
