4 o’clock frame

The outer highlight is uneven. The supplied resolution does not establish a chipped or bent frame.
Moderate confidence · confirm the ordered model before shipment
The visible alignment, sampled dates, hand alignment and timing support GL. Uneven bright index-frame edges deserve disclosure but do not establish a damaged marker. The seller's ambiguous model comment should be clarified before shipping.

A free demo of programmatic alignment checks and AI visual review. No separate human watchmaker sign-off. The opening annotated image is a derivative of P04; it is not an extra independent view.
| Area | Assessment | Evidence and caveat |
|---|---|---|
| Dial alignment | Looks acceptable | No conspicuous displacement or severe repeatable rotation in corrected views. |
| Index-frame edges | Fine finish uncertain | Uneven bright rims remain visible. Reflection is plausible; a damaged frame is not proven. |
| Date wheel | 13 / 17 / 21 acceptable | Readable, with visible aperture clearance. Other dates and rollover are untested. |
| Hands | Looks acceptable | P02 shows near-12 alignment; V02 shows seconds-hand motion. |
| Timing | Reassuring short sample | −5 s/day, 274°, 0.1 ms; 52° setting. No long-duration or multi-position test. |
| Seller model wording | Confirm before shipping | Get the exact factory, size, version, dial, bezel and bracelet confirmed in writing. |
P04 is the unobstructed primary view. P02 is a separate capture showing the hands near 12. Each grid is fitted to printed minute ticks, excluding applied markers.

Cyan: main dial axes and minute-track reference. Amber: other hour rays. These references apply to the printed dial plane, not the cyclops or raised bezel.
Alignment assessment. The applied batons broadly follow the printed track. I do not see a conspicuously misplaced marker or a strong, repeatable rotation that justifies another RL. Small apparent slopes and reflective edge differences remain; “acceptable” does not mean perfectly manufactured.
P03 provides a third independently fitted view below. The crown at 12 is partly obscured by the hands in P02, so P04 carries more weight for that detail. Perspective correction cannot remove crystal refraction or raised-marker parallax.

The poster’s concern is visible in the images. The distinction is between an uneven highlight and a confirmed defect in the metal.
The upper bright edge looks slightly rippled in both P02 and P04, while the luminous rectangle remains continuous. Similar lighting can preserve similar highlights across photos, so repetition alone does not prove physical damage.

No definite missing chunk of metal or missing lume is resolved here. If this edge would affect your decision, request a focused macro under diffuse light and a second light direction before shipping.

GL / RL threshold. These images do not establish a replacement-level frame fault. A sharp, persistent chip, bent frame, loose marker or lume loss confirmed under changed lighting would justify reconsidering that recommendation. This report does not dismiss every irregularity as “just reflection.”
Three date positions are visible. These crops keep the original camera geometry rather than applying a dial-plane correction through the cyclops.

All three dates are legible and have visible clearance from the aperture. I do not see a cut-off digit or a gross placement fault. The margins are not perfectly equal; the camera position and cyclops affect apparent centering. These three photos do not validate all 31 dates, the rollover time or date-setting behavior.

No date adjustment occurs in the supplied videos. The hand-alignment evidence comes from P02, while V02 adds seconds-hand motion and views during handling. Neither proves hand clearance through a full cycle.
Both Imgur videos were downloaded independently and match the supplied files byte for byte.

The readings are reassuring for this short sample and do not supply a timing-based reason to RL. V01 lasts 5.63 seconds; the “12s” on the screen is an instrument setting, not the length of the supplied test video. Wind state, long-duration stability and results in other positions are unverified.
The amplitude is reported at the device’s 52° setting; the installed movement and correct lift angle have not been independently verified. Lift angle affects acoustic amplitude calculations; see Witschi’s measurement guidance, §5.2. This source explains the measurement principle, not the identity or condition of this watch.
The complete timing clip, with the original audio track retained.

Download unchanged videoBoth files are 854 × 480. All footage was retained; chronological samples spanning each full clip were inspected, with focused review of the readable timing screen and dial. No video upscaling or re-encoding was needed.

The fluted bezel has no obvious missing segment or gross damage. This configuration has no dive-bezel pip to assess. The case, bracelet and clasp views show no obvious major assembly fault, but protective film prevents certifying a scratch-free finish.

Dial alignment, the three sampled dates, the near-12 hand view and the short timing clip support approval if the illustrated frame-edge finish is acceptable to you.
Pause shipment if the dealer cannot confirm the ordered configuration. Reconsider cosmetic GL if clearer photos establish a chipped, bent or loose marker, missing lume, or another material fault.
The photographs show a silver baton dial, fluted bezel and Jubilee-style bracelet. They cannot establish the exact diameter, VSF provenance, “v2” designation or installed VS3235 movement. A translation error is possible, but it is not something this report can conclude from the turnaround time or pictures.
Thanks for the replacement QC. Before shipping, please confirm this is the exact configuration I ordered: VSF DateJust 36mm, VS3235 v2, silver baton dial, fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet. What did you mean by 'different model'—a replacement piece of the same specification, or a different reference or version? Please confirm the pictured watch is the one allocated to my order.
If frame finish matters to you, also request diffuse-light close-ups of the 9, 4 and 8 markers. No message has been sent. The previously rejected watch was not reviewed, so this is not an improvement comparison.
17 images and two videos. P01 is the poster’s annotated derivative; P02–P17 are the 16 unannotated photo files. Both videos appear above.

The live album declares 19 items. Its complete media list contains 17 images and two MP4s. Every live file was downloaded independently and compared with the supplied album download: 19 of 19 SHA-256 hashes match. There are no missing or unexpected IDs.
The browser initially exposed 15 items and a “Load 4 more images” control. The final four include the last two photos and both videos. A video extractor’s two-entry playlist alone would miss all the still images; the full album media list is used here.
P01 has more pixels but contains an added overlay and transformation. Feature matching strongly associates it with P04; it is preserved as context and excluded from calibration.
Three separate projective fits use dark printed minute ticks. Applied indices, hands, bezel and cyclops never set the grid. The cyclops region and ambiguous ticks are excluded. Each fit is checked against alternating held-out ticks.
The native dial spans roughly 500 pixels. A one-pixel edge choice is meaningful at this scale, so this report does not publish spurious sub-degree physical marker measurements. Low track-fit residuals describe the model’s internal consistency, not the accuracy of raised-marker measurements.
Correction changes perspective on a plane. It cannot reconstruct 3D surfaces, remove crystal refraction, authenticate parts or create missing detail.

| P02 | 32 | 0.37 source pixels | 0.57 source pixels |

AI visual review plus conventional programmatic image geometry, without separate human watchmaker sign-off. No authentication, factory or movement verification, material testing, water-resistance testing, power-reserve testing or guarantee of future reliability. All 19 gallery files were retained and compared with live Imgur downloads; all photos and chronological frames across both short clips were inspected. No generative reconstruction, AI sharpening or invented detail. P01 is an annotated enlargement of P04, not independent evidence.
